Bies Whiskey Polish Wine Cask Finish – Pinot Noir Edition is the result of our search for an exceptional spirit – delicate, yet complex and full of flavor.
We selected a five-year-old distillate from Northern Ireland and finished it for six months in a cask that previously held Polish wine made from Pinot Noir grapes.
We are likely among the first – if not the very first – to age whiskey in casks that previously held Polish wine.
For this edition of Bies, we used 250-liter casks that previously held Pinot Noir from the Warto Vineyard near Koło.
